I don’t know if she is in anyway related to the revolutionary doctor Bobby dela Paz. But she is the daughter of the pentagenarian who was beaten up by the Pangandamans (a Mindanao-based political family) at a golf course in Antipolo City. Her blog sounds both helpless and fighting.
I encourage every blogger to repost or link to the girl’s article. She labels herself as a feminist and a nationalist.
This is the link to her post about the incident:

“The fracas at the golf course and the overt media hyping “ by: sunny rasheed lucman pacasum
There can be plenty to say some ego may have been hurt more than suggesting, as the media seemed aghast hyping the incident as ‘life threatening’, the incident at the golf course involving a Muslim Cabinet Secretary, and an elderly ‘golfer’ mouthing ‘the end’ of a son’s carrier in golfing, like the son could be the next Tiger Woods or something, is more the picture as if it is the failed MILF-GRP M.O.A. A.D. signing in Kuala Lumpur again, revisited.
Any public official, who would have the weight and importance as a DAR Cabinet Secretary, will certainly need security escorts, and they normally are recruited from well- trained pool of PNP regulars, and are responsible security men capable of their trade protecting VIPs. If one crosses this Maginot line to do anything stupid, you could die whether in Tondo or London!
Apparently, a golfer at the club say the incident to have been provoked by the so ‘aggrieved’ old man using an umbrella poking one of the secretary’s son like as if wanting a fencing match, flurry of fists ensued who started what is to me no longer important, we should commend the police bodyguards no life was lost in the confrontation, it could have warranted dangerous actions by the trained PNP escorts.
The incident is to my mind no different from any of the issues shackling lives of people in the country, war in Mindanao, and fracas on the fairways etc. Because again, it is an issue keeping as stuck to persistent habit of looking down on anything Muslim, like people of the Islamic faith has no right to be on the fairways be with sons to enjoy golf even if the guy is a cabinet secretary.
When can this country awake to the realm that even America now has a black for a president? No wonder Mindanao is still at war, because while Mindanaoans have long accepted each other, northern people still has this narcissistic thing they should be boss, be forever kings and queens.
I am myself without any measure of comprehension for this kind of cacophonous attitude problem, but if a Muslim cabinet member is removed from office because of a brawl at a fairway, this I would imagine can be the precursor to a division definitely to shatter the country into bits.
Nobody died thanks God because of golfing at a premier golfing club here, but I should be able to summon the interest especially of the media of the raging war in Mindanao that need to be stopped, though with sympathies to the angry old man whose son may be the next ‘tiger’ Woods, let not this issue be trigger to further divide the country into oblivion.

With DAR SEc. recent press release telling the media that there is no “bugbugan” but a simple brawl make us wonder if Dela Paz family hurt themselves. If it was a brawl how come only 1 side get hurt. I think he is full of shit. He is lying to his teeth. He should resign out of delicadeza. This case will go nowhere and I think it will be settled out of court. I hope Dela Paz family get the justice they deserve.

I am always telling to my two kids(both boys, one 15 and 9 years old the importance of honesty in playing golf, coz it reflects to their parents. Rules on playing basketball can be different PBA for example compared to NBA, but for golf has only one rule and same etiquette in any part of the world. I don’t think the father De la Paz can do bad things in front of his children. I don’t think father De la paz will start trouble and put his children in danger. On issue of self defense by the Pangandamans is unbeleivable, two kids vs. bodyguads, umbrella vs. guns and brawls happened in the “green” happenned again in the “club”. Is that self defense? Or they beleive that Pangandamans rule and foreget golf rule has to follow because they are government officials? Sa Payong natakot ka na? Bakla!!!!!!!

” A person who cheats you in golf will cheat you in almost all the other things.” The other quotables quotes ” Loses the game and win a friend” and Follow through.”
The beginning of 2009 ushered in a message for me: CHILLAX. ALL IS WELL.
So I finally make that trip to join my friend for a kick ass moment to a driving range.. After buckets of awkward hits and misses, I’ve come to know the real meaning of Perseverance, Equality, and Poise in golf and the world. I actually think I am beginning to Love not just Like this sport.
The clean air, the cozy, evergreen surroundings the club we went truly gives one person a refreshing calm. Cares and worries are washed away. What more can one ask for when you are calm and at peace? …
But now, after reading the blog makes me want to cry like a lil girl who loses her candy coz the people like the Pangandamans retardedly gets my moment and chance to experience how one can live peacefully again at the range that I wanted to be.

Come to think of it, not all of us know the truth. But most of my friends who are members of the golf club could attest that bambee dela paz’s version is only half of the truth. we cannot put the blame on the pangandamans alone. do we really know what happened?

you people should always remember that THERE’S ALWAYS TWO SIDES OF THE STORY. that dela paz girl is such a whiner, she could get into trouble with all the stuff she’s written all over the internet.
next time, you people should learn to get both sides of story, always.
oh well, look who got expelled diba?
